Chapter Program
To the Stars — STEM Program
Hands-on science, technology, engineering, and math workshops introducing South Suburban youth to the foundations of modern technology.
To the Stars is Chi Lambda Lambda's STEM initiative — one of the Fraternity's mandated programs — built around hands-on, experiential learning for young people in the South Suburbs.
The program launched on October 10, 2025 at the Homewood Public Library with an inaugural class of 25 students, followed by an additional session at the Village of Hazel Crest Family Center serving surrounding communities.
Workshops include Computer Components — exploring CPU, RAM, motherboard, and storage fundamentals through hands-on hardware deconstruction, led by Bro. Ashley Russell, M.S. Ed. — and Paper Circuits, where participants build working circuits with conductive materials and LED lights, led by Bro. Karl Bryant, Chapter Basileus.
