Account Deletion

How to delete your Chi Lambda Lambda app account, what that removes, and what the chapter retains.

Last updated: August 9, 2026

1. Deleting your account from the app

If you have the Chi Lambda Lambda app installed, you can delete your account yourself at any time: open the app, go to the More tab, scroll to the bottom, and tap Delete account. You will be asked to confirm. The deletion takes effect immediately and no further request is necessary.

2. What is deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes your sign-in credentials — the account that lets you enter the app and the members-only portal — and every push-notification registration tied to you, so your devices immediately stop receiving chapter notifications. Once deleted, these cannot be recovered.

3. What the chapter keeps, and why

Your membership record on the chapter roster is retained. It is unlinked from your deleted sign-in, but the record itself remains, because it is part of the official record of the Chi Lambda Lambda Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. — membership history, dues and financial history, meeting attendance, and the record of chapter business are chapter records that the chapter is obliged to maintain, in the same way that minutes and financial ledgers are kept. Deleting an app sign-in does not resign your membership.

You can sign back in at any time using your roster email address; a new sign-in will be linked to your existing membership record.

4. Requesting deletion without the app

If you have already uninstalled the app, no longer have access to it, or would rather not use the in-app control, write to the Keeper of Records and Seal at ChiLambdaLambdaKRS@oppf.org from the email address on your roster record and ask that your app account be deleted. We will action the request and confirm by reply.

Requests to access, correct, or erase the personal information the chapter holds about you — including a request that goes beyond the app sign-in described above — are handled under Section 10 of our Privacy Policy, through the same address.

5. Resigning membership

Deleting your app account is not a resignation from the chapter or from Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., and it does not settle any outstanding financial obligation to the chapter. Membership status is governed by the Constitution and By-Laws of the Fraternity; direct questions about your standing to the Keeper of Records and Seal.
