In January 2025, the Chi Lambda Lambda Chapter participated in the Real Men Read initiative as part of its ongoing commitment to youth development, literacy, and positive mentorship. On January 24, Brothers visited Lavizzo Elementary School to engage students through reading and interactive discussion.
The initiative exposes young students to positive male role models who emphasize the value of reading, learning, and academic achievement. Basileus Karl Bryant, Keeper of Records and Seal Charles Robinson, and Assistant Keeper of Records and Seal Ken Giden were among those who read to students.
The presence of Brothers reinforced messages of confidence, discipline, and self-worth while promoting literacy as a foundational tool for long-term achievement.
