On May 10, 2025, the Chi Lambda Lambda Chapter hosted its annual Mother's Day Gospel Brunch and Women of Excellence Awards, honoring mothers and women within the community for their exceptional service and leadership. Held at the Tuscany Falls Banquet Hall in Tinley Park, Illinois, the event welcomed more than 300 guests for an afternoon of live gospel performances and fellowship.
Women were recognized for achievements in Public Service, Community Service, Entrepreneurship, and Education. Honorees included Dynette Davis, CEO of Dymensions Educational Consultants; TaNesheha Marshall, Vice President of Capital Construction at the Chicago Transit Authority; and Dr. Blondean Davis, CEO of Southland Charter College Preparatory High School.
The event reflected the chapter's commitment to acknowledging excellence across multiple sectors, continuing a tradition of honoring distinguished women in the community.
