On February 18, 2025, the Chi Lambda Lambda Chapter partnered with the Joliet Area South Suburban Alumnae Chapter (JASSAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. to support the EMBODI (Empowering Males to Build Opportunities for Developing Independence) mentoring program at Colin Powell Middle School, serving more than 125 students.
Hosted under the leadership of Brother Richard Brown, Vice Principal and chapter member, Brothers facilitated structured workshops addressing professional appearance, proper attire, personal hygiene, and the importance of scholarship, emphasizing accountability and preparation for future success.
The collaboration highlighted the impact of coordinated Pan-Hellenic efforts in addressing youth development, strengthening relationships between students, educators, and community organizations.
