Phone Banking & Community Voter Engagement Forum

We are uniting NAACP branches, community organizations, volunteers, civic leaders, and residents to strengthen voter engagement across the Far-South Suburban communities.

The forum will focus on:

Phone Banking and Text Outreach
Voter Registration and Education
Community Engagement
We will provide a meal and refreshments.

We Need Our Community Partners at the Table

Your organization's participation is important as we work together to increase voter education, civic participation, and voter turnout in our communities. We encourage you to:

Attend the October 3 forum with members of your organization;
Identify volunteers who can participate in phone banking and text outreach;
Share the attached flyer throughout your networks and social media platforms;
Encourage your members and constituents to participate in voter registration and education efforts; and
Help us build a strong, sustained civic engagement network leading up to Election Day and beyond.
Google Voice Number for Phone Banking

To support our phone banking efforts and help volunteers keep personal and outreach communications separate, we also encourage participants to set up a Google Voice number for their civic engagement calls and texts.

Please see the attached instructions for creating a Google Voice number. We encourage volunteers to complete this step before October 3 so they are prepared to participate in phone banking.

Please note: Volunteers should use the Google Voice number for authorized outreach and follow all applicable election, privacy, and organizational guidelines.
